日産自動車にて、車両生産技術業務、経営企画業務に従事した後、日中自動車合弁会社である東風汽車有限公司の経営企画本部長、世界初のEV用バッテリー量産会社で日産自動車傘下であったAESCの社長、日産自動車の日本・アセアン工場統括等を歴任。
その後、中国企業傘下となったAESCグループのCEOとして、グローバルの事業拡大を推進。 Mr. Matsumoto joined our group in 2026. Prior to joining the group, he built an extensive career at Nissan Motor Company, where he held leadership roles across production engineering, corporate planning, and oversight of manufacturing operations in Japan and the ASEAN region. He also served as Senior General Manager of Corporate Planning at Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., a Japan-China joint venture, and as President of AESC, a Nissan subsidiary recognized as the world's first company to mass-produce batteries for electric vehicles. He subsequently served as CEO of AESC Group, under Chinese ownership, where he drove the expansion of its global business operations.
